ACS Newcastle Chapter - From Startup to Cloud: A Q&A with Diamond IT

ACS

Newcastle’s own Diamond IT recently won the accolade of being ranked #6 Managed Service Provider in Australia by the international MSP Mentor 501 awards. Directors Robert Buck and Martin Thurgate will be speaking on lessons they’ve learned in growing a startup from nothing to a successful multi-city business, “keeping the lights on” for many local businesses, and businesses further afield.

“We have had a multitude of challenges along the way, as any small to medium business owner would relate to but sheer persistence, the passion of the team and the right business partnerships have helped shape where we are today” said Robert.

“Technology has always been my passion and I get excited about the future of where technology is headed and more so how it can potentially evolve in years to come….” added Martin.

Thursday 13th October from 6.15pm

Rob and Martin will also speak on technology trends they have observed – what was in hot demand by their customers in 2000, and what’s in hot demand now? What do they predict will be in hot demand in the near future as we approach 2030? A strong partnership and cultivating a successful team over the past 18 years have contributed to this success, come along and hear for yourself and be sure to bring your questions!
