By Samantha Cordell | February 6, 2017

sam-cordellDiamond actively recruits and keeps the best ICT brains in the market. Our staff are recognised industry leaders, innovators and all round impressive people who all have great stories to share.

We’d like you to meet our Group Marketing Manager – Samantha Cordell.

1. What is your role at Diamond?

As Marketing Manager, I cover a broad spectrum of activities which is why I love being in this role. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities and I get to work across all areas of the business.

2. What do you like most about working at Diamond?

Each team has a unique personality and essence which work well together as a collective, creating a fun, dynamic and productive environment to work in!

3. Why did you choose to enter the field?

Marketing was my favourite area at Uni, mainly the broad spectrum it covered as well as the important role it plays in an organisation. I caught the IT bug when I started in Operations for "the now no-longer" Cabletron Systems many moons ago and since then I have pretty much continued down this path...

4. If you could meet anyone, living or dead who would you choose?

Steve Jobs...

5. People would be surprised to know...

I was an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint stockist for a stint during & after maternity leave, best paint on the planet!
