We'd like you to meet our Tier 2 Support Desk Analyst- Mark Miller.
1. What is your role at Diamond?
I am a Tier 2 Support Analyst.
My primary role is to support the Tier 1 team and help resolve the more complex problems or find new solutions for our clients when they ask for something.
2. What do you like most about working at Diamond?
The challenges have been good and I like to solve difficult problems and also take my skill levels higher. Diamond has a great team culture where everyone is willing to help each other out, so it has been a good place to work.
3. Why did you choose to enter the field?
I ended up in computers by accident, starting at a federal government computer centre when I was a teenager. I went on to TAFE to complete a Diploma and have been in support roles since.
4. If you could meet anyone, living or dead who would you choose?
I wouldn't have a clue what to say to someone I looked up to, but if there is anyone I'd like to talk to it would be Donald Trump to tell him he's the biggest idiot ever, one like the world has never, ever seen before!
5. People would be surprised to know...
I don't actually fiddle around with computers in my spare time, or even play computer games; I like things like classic European cars, watches and clocks, and books!
