Meet Sam Ferguson - Business Technology Specialist

We'd like you to meet our newest team member, Sam Ferguson, who has joined our Customer Success team as the new Business Technology Specialist.

Tell us a bit about your role at Diamond IT?

My role as a Business Technology Specialist is to provide knowledge and insight to our customers and Business Technology Managers (BTM's) in regard to the technological needs of business decisions.

Tell us a bit about your background?

I completed a Bachelor of Information Technology at the University of Newcastle about 4 years ago now. Since then I’ve spent a good portion of time managing a phone repair shop and all the different technology know how's that this entailed.

While working full-time, I have also been a part of a production/media company producing live sport broadcasts around the country, corporate events and much more.

Why do you want to work for Diamond IT? 

Diamond IT is a company that provides excellent opportunities for learning and growth in an area I am interested in building my career in.

What is your favourite piece of technology? 

Probably my phone. It's amazing how many tasks one can complete with a device that easily fits in your pocket.

When you’re not at work, where would we find you? 

Either spending time with friends or family or hidden behind a camera filming sports, taking photos and producing content.
