Microsoft unveils Windows 365, a New Era of Hybrid Computing

With organisations embracing a hybrid model of office and remote work, Microsoft’s latest addition, a “cloud PC” service, introduces a new way to experience Windows for businesses of all sizes.

“Windows 365 takes the operating system to the Microsoft Cloud, streaming the full Windows experience – apps, data and settings – to any device”, Microsoft said.

This is an exciting progression for small to medium businesses particularly given the ease of setup and use of the service.

When is Windows 365 available?

Windows 365 will be generally available on August 2 and will be offered as a monthly subscription, including through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners such as Diamond IT.

Windows 365 will be available in two editions – Windows 365 Business for customers with fewer than 300 users, and Windows 365 Enterprise for larger customers.
