Meet our Technology Consulting Manager…

We have recently appointed Glendin Franklin-Browne to our management team to head up Diamond's technology consulting offering and tackle the customer demands of digital transformation and business IT needs.

With more than 23 years’ experience and numerous certifications in the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) industry, Glendin has worked across a breadth of industries including local government, professional services, not for profit and more recently entertainment and hospitality.

Having worked with leading organisations such as Uniting Care, Hunter Water, Integrated Living Australia, Leah Jay Property Management and The Wests Group, Glendin has built up an impressive and broad range of expertise.

Our Managing Director, Robert Buck said the appointment comes at a time when digital transformation is providing organisations with unprecedented opportunity to gain competitive advantage.

"We welcome Glendin’s experience and expertise to work with our customers to get the most out of this evolving landscape," he said.

Glendin said a range of services will be available to new and existing Diamond clients.

“I am excited to be part of developing Diamond IT’s own technology consulting brand as we focus on business intelligence, software systems appraisal, technology security, acceptable usage policies, IT strategy and audit, independent systems selection, asset management and more…” said Glendin.  

Having moved from New Zealand to Australia in 2002, Glendin spent 8 years working in Sydney before settling into Newcastle in 2010 with his wife and kids, and has even recently jumped on the Knights bandwagon, though still a devout All Blacks fan.
