In collaboration with Microsoft, we recently hosted an enlightening in-person event geared towards leaders within the not-for-profit sector. Taking place on the 22nd of March at the picturesque Customs House in Newcastle, our gathering aimed to arm attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to prepare their technology environments for the future.

At the heart of our event was a deep dive into the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for not-for-profit organisations, with a particular focus on Copilot for Microsoft 365.

Drawing upon insights from the InfoXChange Report of October 2023, which revealed that two thirds of all not-for-profit organisations were preparing to implement AI before year end, we explored how embracing AI technologies can streamline operations, attract crucial support, and foster innovative community engagement strategies.

Our lineup of speakers brought a wealth of expertise to the table. From Chris Lines, Microsoft's Territory Channel Manager for the Technology for Social Impact (TSI) team, to Kyle Loades, a seasoned Chairman with extensive cross-sector experience, and Robert Buck, the visionary founder of Diamond IT, our speakers illuminated key topics ranging from AI adoption trends to optimising technology landscapes for success.

Throughout the event, the emphasis remained on actionable strategies and tangible solutions. Attendees were encouraged to network with like-minded peers and explore how technology can amplify their organisation's impact on the community.
