Meet Mitchell Pagey - Tier 1 Support Desk Analyst

We'd like you to meet our newest team member, Mitchell Pagey, who recently joined our team as a Tier 1 Support Analyst.

Tell us a bit about your role as Tier 1 Support Analyst at Diamond IT?

My role as a Tier 1 Support Analyst involves answering calls and responding to customer requests, providing standard IT support and guidance.

 

Tell us a bit about your background?

I've enjoyed solving IT problems and working with computers for nearly a decade now, which led me to achieving a Cert III, IV and Diploma in IT with TAFE NSW.

Why did you choose a career with Diamond IT? 

I wanted to start my career and get some experience working in the industry, and Diamond IT provides an excellent environment for learning to support a variety of systems. It helps having a reliable team supporting me as well.

What is your favourite piece of technology? 

My favourite piece of technology is the Solid-State Drive. So important for reliability and speed compared to magnetic hard drives, and with M.2 SSDs they have only become smaller and faster.

When you’re not at work, where would we find you? 

When I'm not at work I am usually going to the gym, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or shopping for new PC parts.
